The Triton Water Filled Traffic Barriers are road safety product that provides energy-absorbing protection for pedestrians, road workers and motorists. Barrier sections are filled on site with water to absorb collision energy – redirecting vehicles away from work crews and minimizing damage to cars and their occupants. The Triton TL-2 is easy to install, utilizing a series of 2 meter sections interlocked by a steel cable and pin.
Water filled barriers can be used in any situation where you need to separate people or vehicles from potential dangerous situations. Triton TL2 barriers have been successfully crash tested under and are currently approved for roadworks up to 50 kph in NSW and 70 kph in Queensland.
Our lightweight water filled barriers systems are easily transportable and once interlocked and filled with water on site, they are a maintenance free sturdy barrier, with no pins to go missing. It consists of a number of interlocking, 2 m (6.5 ft) sections made of polyethylene plastic and an internal steel framework. The Triton Barrier’s performance meets the FHWA NCHRP 350 TL-2 standard for longitudinal re-directive barrier.
The Triton Barrier is certified as its own end treatment, saving deployment time and hardware expenses. The last ten sections of Triton Barrier, when oriented properly in relation to traffic and according to the end treatment instructions provided by Energy Absorption Systems, serve as the crash worthy end treatment for this barrier system.
Whether the requirement is to redirect, separate or delineate traffic, protect pedestrians and road workers from moving vehicles, or provide a high visibility presence for events such as cycle road races, triathlons and other sporting activities.
We provide an emergency response service for emergencies including fires, floods, natural and man made disasters. Our range of water filled safety barriers will provide you with many years of service and protection and is effective in all climatic and weather conditions.

The Absorb 350 system is a water filled non directive, gating crash cushion that is approved to NCHRP Test Level 2 (70km/h) in QLD and NSW.
The Absorb 350 system can be attached to permanent or temporary (concrete or steel) barriers without the need to anchor the Absorb 350 system to the roadway surface. At 610mm wide, it is ideal for narrow areas where road and work space is limited. It can be used at construction work zones, exits, wide medians, edge of road locations and any site where it is desirable for the post impact trajectories to be on the back side of the system.
The ABSORB 350™ is designed to absorb the impact energy of an errant vehicle in accordance with NCHRP 350 guidelines for Non Re-directive, Gating, Crash Cushions. The system is designed to attach to Permanent or Portable Concrete Barrier (PCB) with section lengths of at least 3.1 metres.
When attached in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, the ABSORB 350 system is capable of safely stopping a 2000kg pickup truck impacting the system at 70kph and 0 degrees and an 820kg compact vehicle impacting the system at 70km/h, 0 degrees and with an offset of the vehicle and system centrelines of one-fourth the vehicle width. When properly installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations the ABSORB 350™ system shall be fully tested to and meet the recommended structural adequacy, occupant risk, and vehicle trajectory criteria set forth in NCHRP 350 for Test Level 2 Non Re-directive, Gating, Crash Cushions (NCHRP 350 TL-2): Impact at 0 degrees at w/4 offset (centreline of vehicle offset 1/4 width of vehicle from centreline of system) at 70kph with an 820kg vehicle. This is Test 2-40 of NCHRP 350.
Work zones or other temporary applications to shield portable concrete barrier on asphalt, concrete, gravel or dirt when speed of deployment and removal is essential. Can also be used in permanent applications.

The QuadGuard Road Barrier Crash Cushion system is a highly efficient, redirective, non-gating crash cushion. It consists of crushable, energy-absorbing cartridges surrounded by a framework of panels. Its modular design allows the System length to be tailored to the design speed of a site. TL3 rated crash cushion suitable for protecting hazards up to 915mm wide in a 100 kph zone.
QuadGuard Road Barrier Crash Cushion Systems telescope rearward and progressively crush the cartridges to absorb the energy of impact. When impacted from the side, the QuadGuard System safely redirects the errant vehicle back toward its original path without gating. Quadguards are a standalone end treatment, but also have various transitions are available for concrete and steel barriers if required.
The CZ Road Barrier Crash Cushion system is designed for temporary situation; with an inbuilt steel plate allowing for rapid installation can also be pinned directly into asphalt without the need for a concrete pad.
The new family of QuadGuard crash cushions offers the latest technology for shielding hazards 610 to 3048 mm (2′ to 10′). Each Quadguard System consists of crushable, energy-absorbing cartridges surrounded by a framework of Energy’s exclusive steel
Quad-Beam™ panels. These new crash cushions redefine NCHRP 350, Test Level 3 performance for redirective, non-gating attenuators. The QuadGuard Systems have successfully passed the complete
NCHRP 350, Test Level 3 test matrix with both the light car and high center-of-gravity pickup truck at speeds up to 100 km/h (62 mph) at angles up to 20°. Higher speed units are available.
During head-on impacts, the QuadGuard Systems telescope rearward and crush the cartridges to absorb the energy of impact. When impacted from the side, the QuadGuard Systems safely redirect the errant vehicle back toward its original travel path without allowing gating.
